I bring understanding, compassion and a sensitive insight to my practice. With certifications from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and the Tom Monte Program for Healers, plus 15 years of passionate investigation into Traditional Chinese and Complimentary medicines and nutrition science, I created my wellness counseling service, Intuit Nutrition.
Certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) after graduating from the IIN in 2001, I was selected as a teaching assistant and mentor to the students 2002 class.
In 2003, I was introduced to the L.I.F.E Stress Management & Wellness System, an advanced electro-physiological Biofeedback device, designed to aide in the reduction of stress and muscle relaxation. I got my certification and have been providing nutrition guidance in biofeedback sessions ever since.
In 2008, I earned my three-year certification as a Compassion Integration Counselor (CIC), one of the first of 17 other amazing healers from Tom Monte Program for Healers.
I specialize in helping those seeking assistance in overcoming their addictions—to alcohol, food and sugar—and addictive behaviors and learn how to be "sweet" to themselves through more playful and nurturing ways than with food; with a growing emphasis on ferreting out food sensitivities and healing the gut.
